The only thing approaching a decent point here is that for $280m, we should be demanding more deportations. Given how many illegals there are, a single ICE officer should be able to get at least a couple a day.

Playing with statistics does a lot of things.
It's a complete lie, of course. There may have been that many arrests for "traffic violations" but that was on US citizens intentionally blocking ICE cars & so forth. That's also where the "they arrest citizens! and demand their ID!" comes from. You smash your SUV into a police car? Yeah they're going to want some ID, eh?
The vast majority of arrests were of violent criminals. Note: child molestation is NOT a "violent crime" to the leftists... and DUI is "minor" and "non-violent" even if people are injured or killed.
