It was only 13 minutes, none of the songs were any good, they had Hispanics working in plantations (lol), guys grinding on each other during dance routines, contrasted with a traditional wedding of a 'totally legit couple' with the fakest smiles imaginable. Then Lady Gaga entered the stage for whatever reason, with yet another non-catchy song -- some sort of ballad.
Then they had a load of Hispanic pseudo-celebrities dance around with the background dancers. Suddenly Jessica Elba was a thing again, rofl.
What I find stupid is the claim that it was patriotic when they had everyone waving foreign flags at the end and a football saying "We are all America" on it.
Like, nobody cares that the continent you live on happens to share its name with our country. Living in South America doesn't make you American like us. The fact that Latin Americans try to make that claim really comes across as an inferiority complex, like they're ashamed of their own countries and desperately wish they were Americans.
