If your rep is one of the few good ones, by all means vote for them.
I do think the senate is too dangerous to not vote for though, six year terms and they control treaties and appointments.
But I have no plans to help a representative be in their preferred minority party controlled oppo position where they get to profit off the office and not do any work. They need to learn that even safe seats have consequences and they have to do their effing jobs when they have the majority. I might even vote democrat for the first time to do it.
There is no safer time to rid the house of RINO ilk than the midterms in a Trump presidency. Trump has the veto, if we hold significantly more than a third of the Senate, the house can't do anything worse than the complete lack of results we have had since the BBB passed, the only things they have passed since then have been bad, and the BBB was good-and-bad, it funded ICE, so I will give it a pass as an overall positive and the only good thing Republican legislators have done in the past year. The only difference they can make is what pork earmarks go to. I've never known anyone who benefitted from pork, have you? It makes zero difference to me whether a democrat leech or a republican donor gets pork.
I hope Republicans win the midterms in both houses, but if we lose the house, I would rather all of the Republicans who voted for ANY welfare spending on immigrants, legal or illegal, or any new visas lose their seats than them going on without ever learning that their complicity has consequences.
If any one downvotes me or the above guy, change my mind, if you care to. But 'not voting is how we got in this mess' won't cut it.
I think it would be hilarious if Republicans got mid-termed by random assholes all over the country.
But do you think there are good candidates? To seriously get to that level, you show up on the (((radar))) and either get invited into the club or completely shut down.

True, but it is becoming increasingly difficult for them to shut people down.
