Here's the thing about history. No matter what great cultural revolution happens, it only ends up affecting overcrowded cities. Any new warlord knows better than to fuck with workforce and farmers and those who thought they could ended up causing holodomor or worse. This is why Communism and its variations are uniquely despised. Because they thought they could just fuck with food provides and expect no long term consequences.
