This is frame where the gun supposedly fired. It's super blurry and pixilated, but you can still see the shape of the officer's black glove, part of the handle of the grey gun, and you can maybe kind of see the gun barrel sticking out of the slide. The officer's finger was not where the trigger would be on the gun. If this is accurate, and it might not be because the footage is super blurry, then this whole incident was caused by a Sig P320 random discharge.
I still don't know that it's true, but good lord would it be the greatest PR disaster in history if the Sig P320 ND'd a year of riots while Sig keeps pretending that the gun dindu nuffin.
You never see a barrel flash, am I supposed to believe this?
This is waco level shit, where they claimed that the cops werent shooting at the people in the compound despite the dozens of weapon flashes on recorded footage.
They really do believe the average american is dumber than dog shit and most of us are out here proving it.
You don't always see the barrel flash. I'm not saying it's definitive, but it's certainly possible. It matches up with timing...but so does the other guy, that I think you mentioned.
That's the tricky thing with this; once you start looking, you can connect all sorts of dots. Whether or not they actually connect.
But it's definitely possible that the gun goes off. And the slide certainly seems to be back. But it is bad quality, and all sorts of things could be happening.

Sig takes yet another life

Catching a muzzle flash on camera is very iffy without an extremely high fps camera.

the video was probably recorded in 30fps, the flash could have come and gone before the next frame was taken.
Why, exactly, do you think you would see a barrel flash? That's literally not supposed to happen on most correctly powered guns.
Here's a Sig P320 going off in a holster. Do you see a flash?
May not be random. Pretti could have modified it with a hair trigger or something.
