The game actually refers to male Charlie as "he" a single time: when he's visibly angry and upset and yelling loudly in the classroom at the migrant. The game never refers to female Charlie as "she"

Sneaky! They quietly kick you out of the non-binary club when you show toxic masculinity in the game. The deep-layered fuckery of this is that they don't do the same for those who pick a female Charlie - well obviously, because that would be misgendering!

The funniest part of this for me is that these might all be unconscious choices by mind-colonised propagandists.
