Mogging the foids sure hit differently in 1945.
White men were generally more educated back then and could play with the English language better. That way they could dish out sick burns while staying polite.
I think it means a kind of mundane female interest. "Tee hee, isn't he cute." vs. a European woman acknowledging you, a stranger, moved heaven and earth for her. Because American women never actually saw the war.
Bobby socks and chicken pox are both vaguely youthful/childish references.
1950s had a type of class that women had to adhere to. Speaking trashy was not lady like. Of course that era had its (((women's rights))) pushes as well.
