The old games were okay, but clunky. Ironically RoboCop vs Terminator was the best 16-bit outing back then.
But to echo Shadow's point, I recently replayed RoboCop: Rogue City and it is quite brilliant for what it is (same devs who made Terminator: Resistance).
I would definitely get RoboCop Rogue City and the mod to improve the footstep sounds and the Auto9 sound mod so it sounds more like the movie. Having RoboCop stomp around and blasting perps to literal pieces is some of the most fun I've had in years.
The Robocop tech shown in the movie was well done and really paints a picture of a Big Brother future we are all heading towards (cameras everywhere, AI facial recognition good enough to flag you as a wanted criminal, real-time access to phone conversations or even private conversations held in a public setting). Otherwise it was a substandard movie that limited itself with the PG13 rating
Director made some of the best movies ever with the Elite Squad films, which in my opinion were on par/better than the Sicario films.
Director had some awesome plans for the RoboCop reboot, which would have made it a hard R, but execs stepped in and said "No" at every turn.
You can sort of see the bones of what he wanted to do, but can also see where he was definitely hamstrung. The best parts of that film were the opening when they were in Afghanistan.
I need to rewatch the movies. Also I think the shirt lived tv show is on Tubi or YouTube. Cartoon as well
The AA-level game that came out (Robocop: Rogue City) is extremely worth playing. The shooting is super fun.
Will check it out. There was a Nintendo or Sega Genesis game too if I remember

Will definitely look it up
Still haven't seen the remake. Wonder if it's really that bad.
It isn't bad. It's just completely bland. It's a masterpiece compared to any recent girl power shit.
It was made in 11 or 12. Not terrible but not as good as the original
