Again, who decides what's "illegal"?
Captain: "OK platoon! Fix bayonets and charge that hill!"
Private B: "I refuse, I don't think that's constitutional."
Captain: "Yes Private B! I now take orders from you. Everyone else fix bayonets."
(Everyone else decides it's an "illegal order" too).
Obeying orders is what soldiers are supposed to do. A blatantly illegal one has to be astonishingly obvious for any chance of it being disobeyed. To call for soldiers to disobey orders is treasonous. Period.
Says someone who has never served. I wouldn't expect you to understand what being a soldier is about. I can only tell you in basic training you take a course called the law of land warfare where you are taught you are not legally allowed to obey an illegal order. If you follow an illegal order you are responsible for it.
And yet again, such obviously illegal orders should be disobeyed, yes. To CALL FOR soldiers to disobey "illegal orders" (without saying what those are) is a specific crime. There's an actual law against it. It's also treasonous. That retired soldier should face a court-marshal too.
Yes, mother fucker. The newest private is expected to deny an illegal order.

Every man is responsible for their actions.

Not what you were saying
