Exactly. Peace with Israel is impossible. It's just a matter of time until they attack you again. Greater Israel doesn't form itself.

I thought Greater Israel was a crazy conspiracy theory, but then you suddenly have Netanyahu declaring his affinity for it and that crazy settler lady unironically saying that she wants all land between the Nile and the Euphrates.

It's not been a good year for Israel.

Suddenly? They been open about this since the beginning. This was always an open secret just like AIPAC controlling the US government. Israel has never done anything but wage wars of conquest.

Their hasbara was quite good, deceiving many people. Also, things like giving back the Sinai in exchange for peace. I don't think the aim of real decisionmakers is a greater Israel, but regional hegemony. They're fine with Egypt and Jordan being unoccupied, as long as these countries do what Israel commands... as they do.

As long as they're obedient slaves to Israel and as long as Israel isn't in a position to outright annex them. It's just a matter of time until Israel goes after their territory again.

No thank you. Let's say that it's moral and desirable. You couldn't get it done when Hitler dominated Europe and fleeing Jews were turned away from everywhere from the US to Palestine. You'\re going to do it now, now that the Jews have nuclear weapons?

Come on. No one has accused you guys of having awareness, but this is just absurd.

Bad for PR but they have everything they want. Wait for the big terrorist attack that's coming, they will recoup their PR with it.

I don't agree. They're riding the tiger. There has been not much meaningful change on the ground. They have had a lot of operational success, but that alone is no substitute for strategic vision. You're not going to bomb your entire neighborhood into pulp for all of eternity.

And the response to a terrorist attack isn't going to be a 9/11 style insanity.

Is GI a remnant from the Old Testament or is it modern borders with a lot of buffer space to allow for a more defendable homeland?

I think it's just more Lebensraum, because ancient Israel definitely didn't include half of Egypt. Maybe some Abrahamic ideas do include part of Iraq. Nor does it seem to me that overextending yourself that much would improve your security situation.

But we're not dealing with rational people. We're dealing with people who can't even keep the spaghetti in their pockets about how much they want to kill Palestinians.

I never understood the overextension issue either. Even if you took every Israeli and put them into Fat Israel you’d still end up with the population density of Alaska.
