Video discusses the Automatic Licence Plate Reader epidemic.
Specifically it talks about 6 out of the 40 some odd critical vulnerabilities in the Flock ALPRs. The video also discusses some of the false claims made by the company including that it only stores images of cars (it stores everything). The video then goes on to discuss the lawfare that Flock is engaging in vs sites like https://deflock.me/ that track the locations of said cameras. The CEO of Flock Safety outright states that anyone opposing him is an "ANTIFA terrorist."
The video also mentions how (((Andreessen Horowitz))) is behind Flock Safety along with a long list of prior data harvesting operations. The examples include Meta during Cambridge Analytica, backing Coinbase during their data breach, the Tellus fintech scam, and many more.
Not surprised in the slightest and that's just the least of it. There has to be plenty of others. They have cameras that track tolls. I'd be naive to think that all those on the stoplights aren't tracking you too. Stores will start selling camera feed to facial recognition firms if not already doing that. People have become nothing but data at this point.
So, he's not a crazy liberal then to use that term. Just another neocon I assume. I'm quickly learning that intelligence and reason doesn't have a side.
A person's likeness, habits, biometrics, and digital history all need to be recognized as intellectual property originating or generated by the person, to be used by others only with the person's express permission.
That’s what the NCAA players argued for years and won. We should be afforded that same protection.
Most camera systems now days go through a third party anyway so they'd be the one selling the data.
It'd be pretty funny if it turns out he's been feeding info to the commies.
Oh and, Flock Safety has a 100% rating on Google SEO, meaning it is much more difficult to get info on them from other websites, and LLMs are of course completely brainwashed about it.
Oh and, Larry Ellison and Marc Andreessen (of Andreessen Horowitz) are partners in the deal to control TikTok.
The Bladerunners showed the way.
No, that isn't all it is. You didn't even watch the video. The images are stored, even when they aren't of vehicles. It looks at far more than just the license plate, including the make, model color, roof racks, back racks, bumper stickers window stickers and a few other. The images are NOT deleted after 7 days like Flock claim, instead the example cameras the researchers took apart still had images where the cameras activated in the factory they were built. The data is also accessible to pretty much anyone at least as of the time of the video release, thanks to exposed API keys.
It really is amazing how powerful these small handful of people are. Now, for financiers like Andreessen, some of it could just be wanting to make money, but it's still wild how many times his name shows up, in some deeply sketchy shit. Then you have definitively ideologically driven billionaires like Soros, Ellison, Adelson, and Thiel. They're all neck-deep in some really twisted stuff.
I'm guessing five, like Sticky Keys. Maybe seven. Whatever it is, though...WOW.
Have a few on a highway I frequent and a specific hardware store chain always has them around me. Always feel like if this is the blatant monitoring gear how much of it is hidden.
How many months till I can wear a rubber mask of someone else's face and not raise eye brows?
11.5 months, but only for a day.
