I always thought "Puta" meant "Cunt". As in "Puta de Madre" (Your Mother's Cunt)
Just testing it out with yandex translate,
puta -> whore
fucker -> hijo de puta
hijo -> son
So it seems that "puta" would probably imply fucker more than whore. It would be literally "fucker jew", which could translate to jew whore pretty well. "Puta de madre" would be "mother fucker." Of course I don't actually speak taco, they just scream obscenities at me.
It a multi-use word. It’s either used as a noun (as either fucker or whore), or as an interjection (fuck or shit as in “Fuck! Got to run!”)
In this case, it looks more than likely it’s “Jew Whores.”
Where I'm from, puta is more like "bitch".

There is no "de" (of) in that phrase.
Is just "Puta Madre" and is a fairly generic "Fuck!!", "Oh shit" phrase.
The meaning is not "your mothers cun't". That would be "La concha de tu madre" or something similar, which is not used normally in beaner Spanish - maybe Argies or Spaniards.
I think it was Argentinian slang now that I think about it.
