That would fit a lot of the questions raised about him over the years. As full on anti-woman as he is it's been brought up how his mother is still in good standing, so an overly bearing mother who instills no [other] woman will ever be good enough results in a full blown gay sperg.
Wouldn't be surprising at all if imp turns out to be working for a legacy media rag.
