I can click a button and protonVPN will be routing me from any one of 120+ different countries. Same with credit cards if they're going do it just by goofs that get the blue check mark.
I'm not sure how this is going to help but I'm ready to be entertained by the spectacle regardless.

So is that how X's flag feature works, then? It only checks where your VPN currently shows you're logging in from? Or perhaps it keeps a register of your logins, and it shows the one in the median?
It doesn't work at all yet. OP is intentionally spreading misinformation. The tweet has nothing to do with the flag policy, which has only been speculated about so far. No details have been released about how it will be implemented.
That would be dumb if it did that.
VPN ip addresses are relatively easy for a mega corporation to uncover.
Some major streaming services block them.
