The progressives' actual view is "kill your enemies to win."
It's more like a bastardization of the Braveheart "they can take our lives, but they can't take our freedom" sentiment.
I notice there's a dynamic going on here:
Erika is the pious, virtuous Christian even 'forgiving' the killer of her husband...
But has NOT condemned or stopped Trump and his administration going for retribution. Seems she's securing Charlie's legacy as an example of a good Christian while Trump is handling the destruction of those that killed him.

Well... if she isn't in on it, you could interpret it as Charlie died but at least before he did he became a free man. After all through the leaked texts we know he pretty much told the Jewish lobby to go fuck themselves.
I know people are capable of seducing someone and having children with them for ulterior motives. But if that is the case for Erika? I'm not yet convinced either way. Time will tell I suppose.
