They launched missiles at Israel during the 12 day war. It's hard to say how damaging it was for Israel since they cracked down on people posting footage of missile impacts. It was costing about $120 million per day in missile defense though.
Seems like a concession since israel already bombed them once. If it happens again, I'm sure there will be reasons we don't come to their defense.
