I know it's only been out for a day, but does anyone know, if there's woke garbage in the game?
Japanese games tend to be safer on that topic, but there has been pozzing going on in recent years, and it costs 80€, so I wanna be cautious.
I tried googling it, but any discussions on that topic only have tons of unlovable leftoid cunts reeing about "ermagherd what does woke even mean you chud" and no actual, real information.
It's literally Silent Hill: Feminism. The farthest I got is the main character's dad is drunk and abusive and she hates him but not as much as she hates her mom for staying with him through the abuse. Main character girl vows to never put up with anything like that. Her and her older sister were close until the older sister left to be married (speculation on a "plot twist, the older sister died of DV and that's why you never see her face).
That's like, the first 15min of the game. I'm not hopeful for a plot twist that subverts all that and makes it based.
I saw a bit of the beginning as well. The fact that it's a Japanese game was the reason, I didn't immediately consider this dynamic a full blown red flag. It was however enough of an orange one to prompt me to make this post.
At this point, I wouldn't even be surprised.
What can you expect from a Kojima game that didnt include kojima?

After seeing a bit of the opening, I thought the plot might revolve around her having an unwanted pregnancy (her interacting with her "best friend" is pretty sus) and now having to cope with the societal shame this brings, plus her dad probably beating the shit out of her for that.
Wouldn've been the most innovative or clever plot, but at least better than whatever the fuck you just described. Holy shit. This doesn't even reach "buy at discount" tier.

You fight a bloated sack monster that looks like multiple pregnant bellies stacked on top of each other, wails a lot, and squirts out fetus pods that explode when you get too close. How's that for symbolism?

He finished streaming the game yesterday and thought the game was a slog to play. Too much combat, especially towards the end where the game completely abandons all subtlety and throws waves of enemies at you.
