The entire driving plot of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, the... #1 rated romance anime, I think? Close to it? Is that the male lead is inferior financially and societally to the female lead, that there's a vast power imbalance, that he needs to bridge even though she's attracted to him. And as we know, severe power imbalances, that's coerced consent.
