Trump's efforts to deal with these bulwarks of left-radical insanity weren't nearly enough. Just like the left-progressives like to push the envelope as far as they can, only to tone it down once they've moved the center far enough to the left. The same strategy should be employed to restore sanity in the centers of higher education in the States.
You've got your cause celebre right here: universities are hotbeds for political violence. It doesn't even matter who the culprit was. The universities should be framed as breeding grounds for political violence.
Problem is, most senators are cunning enough to only say stuff like that while on the floor of the Senate, which lets them hide behind a very strong constitutional protection.
Back to letting "constitutional protection" be the suicide pact of the right.
Those protections don't seem to stop globohomo, do they? Why are we pretending they still exist?
It's a comforting fiction, to believe that the republic of our forefathers is still alive and isn't being worn by something else as a skinsuit.
That's okay, there's also a very strong historical precedent for how to handle shit talking on the floor of Congress.
... I wonder how many lists I can add to my tally if I buy my Congress critters canes?
They don't care about the rules, neither should we.
