Normally I disagree with your takes but I think you’re onto something here. We have the benefit of knowing exactly what happened. I don’t think anyone (Iryna included) truly grasped the severity of the situation or what even happened in the 12 seconds we’re shown.
Why would anyone expect the "bystanders" to stop one of their own? Or help one of their victims?
