Apparently, people were gathered in support of 'Palestine Action' which was branded a terrorist organization by the UK government for spray-painting some planes.
Maybe he's there to provoke (he is pro-Israel), but it's to the discredit of anyone who would be provoked by something so innocuous.
Thanks for the context. I suspected this was explicitly about Israel and not some unrelated thing. OP obfuscated that.

Is it really? ZioCons are going to run wild with this, but Zionism is just going to be a far bigger drag on the right than smashing ice cream on Zionists is going to be on the left.

OP is a good guy, I don't think he was obfuscating anything. I think Billboard Chris generally shows up to places where there are a lot of people gathering/protesting with his signs.

The reason why ZioCons will run wild with this, is because it's a stupid thing to do over something even more stupid - whether or not one person's action is a greater drag on the left than the right's unanimous pro-Israel position is a greater drag on the right.
Both are probably close to 0 in terms of drag. How many people don't support the right because it's pro-Israel? No one, right?
Israel's popularity is under water in every Western country. While foreign policy isn't generally a major concern for voters, it's still going to be at least a bit of a drag. The in your face turbo-Zionism is especially a turn off.
No one is going to remember or care about activists weaponizing ice cream.
Is it? I don't know what's going on here. What's this protest or whatever about?
