Are they going to pretend the Black Identity™ wasn't always some manufactured shit pushed in order to sell overpriced sportswear? Miles always was the Spider-man for black people, the character has never had any integrity or artistic value.

Peter Parker has always been Spider-Man for me. I’ve said since the beginning they should’ve given him a different name but they wanted a black Spider-Man. Problem is that people will always see him as a counterfeit Spider-Man
They hated that Spiderman was the "friendly neighborhood hero."
