For 60+ years, healthcare experts had reported respiratory death rates as estimates based upon the likely number of infections, which is typically 10x or more the number of confirmed cases. Then, for no given reason at all, those same experts reported covid death rates based on confirmed cases, which resulted in a completely inflated (10x higher) fatality risk profile. There’s a literal order of magnitude difference between a 1% death rate (CFR) and a 0.1% death rate (IFR). That was the first lie they used to instill panic in everyone.
The most provable lie was the demonization of ivermectin. It is one of the safest medications in history. It’s safer than fucking Advil. It is also very much a human medication; it has been prescribed millions of times for humans. In fact, every refugee to America is prescribed ivermectin because it is a very safe and effective treatment against the many parasites that plague third world peoples. But the media defamed ivermectin - a lifesaving drug on the UN’s list of essential medications - as a dangerous “horse dewormer”. Why? Most likely to torpedo a potentially effective treatment in order to make way for the Emergency Use Authorizations given to untested experimental injections posing as vaccines.
And the most blatant and disgusting lie: that it was okay to gather in public, by the thousands, during a supposedly deadly pandemic, if and only if you were demonstrating for leftist causes. You want to gather in relatively small numbers to observe your most sacred beliefs? No can do. You want to visit your dying father in the hospital one last time? Sorry, not happening. You want to spend several hours packed together like sardines with thousands of strangers? It’s all good so long as you’re promoting a specific political ideology.

There were literally cases of car accident victims being classified as Covid deaths. Get rid of the "with covids" from the numbers and you probably shift it by an order of magnitude again
