Why is this called suicidal empathy? It's suicidal compassion.
Empathy means understanding a person. If you understand these animals you're sure as hell not going to invite them into your home.
Sympathy means understanding a person. Empathy means feeeeeeeling the same emotions as a person.
I realize the definitions are muddy as fuck since women like to think their involuntary crying is the same as understanding, but there is a difference.
No. It means understanding a persons suffering. Or to express support for a persons position/point of view.
Empathy on the other hand means to truly put yourself in another persons shoes. To understand/feel their point of view, the associated emotions, motivation and ambition. In essence becoming the other person. Having any compassion or sympathy for them isn't required.
It's not involuntary. They can turn on the taps at will.
But she doesn't feel the same as him. She had no idea what he was feeling. He wants to murder her, and she feels like cuddling.
