There are so many games out there, I never understood the need for more, I hardly have time to even watch the news half an hour a day, I guess it is a kids thing that have plenty of time to waste.
It is pretty shortsighted to think that you can just ignore media that people spend literally thousands of hours on.
I don't even know what genre Mass Effect is. All I ever heard about it up to release was that you could romance people, and on top of the fact that I haven't liked Western AAA games since before it was popular to not like Western AAA games, I had no interest in a romance simulator (holy shit was that a harbinger of things to come) so I skipped it. And then everyone was pissed about the end of 3. That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge of the series. And now I still don't care to know what genre Mass Effect is.
So yes, you can just ignore media that people spend literally thousands of hours on and get on with your life perfectly well.
Are you a woman, or otherwise incapable of understanding that there are other people in the world who behave differently from you?

I'm a different guy but i have a similar experience with mass effect, and yes I can recognize that some people are retarded and behave as such.
