EDIT: This is weird one. I don't care about downvotes, but this was +11/-1 or thereabouts when I went to bed. I've never seen a swing like that, but I get it.
For the record, I was mostly memeing, although it is weird the footage was deleted. Like with many historical happenings, there are many questions, though, and plenty of sketchiness from the government. The moon stuff was just the first thing that popped into my head when talking about no video being produced, though.

You think the Apollo landings were fake. But wait, there are records of the landings. There are, for example, photographs. You obviously think these records are fake.
...but also, your point in this thread is, "they didn't keep certain records! That proves it's fake!" Therefore, you think not having records proves it's fake.
So yes, my characterization of your position is accurate. Your position is self-contradictory. You think that records are fake, and at the same time, you think that not having records is evidence that it's fake.

What specifically do you think was the value of the records that were destroyed?

For the record I was being mostly tongue-in-cheek (although it is insane we don't have the actual moon landing footage), but yeah, the fact that our rivals went along with at the time, if it were fake, is certainly a challenge to the theory.
I find the incompetence of a records clerk much easier to believe than the idea that the federal government has kept a secret involving that many conspirators for this many years and created a global news broadcast to do so, but is nonetheless unable or unwilling to mock up one tape.
