And I'm telling you that the law doesn't matter and that until you gain that important life experience of getting punched in the face by someone who knows how to throw a punch, you will never understand how absolutely fucking retarded you are being right now.

The difference is that in that scenario I will get the chance to speak to an attorney, whereas you will be dead on the sidewalk because you tried to follow the law and didn't realize that the law, much like you, fails to correctly identify a lethal threat and the appropriate response to it.
If it were a lethal threat, then you can respond with lethal force.
A punch typically is considered ordinary force, unless you can reasonably articulate that it is lethal force (like getting knock-out game'd by Brock Lesnar).
The point of the law is that you do correctly identify a lethal threat and the response to it.
And any honest appraisal concludes that the mere act of taking a swing warrants a lethal response. However no part of our legal system is honest, which again is why you'll end up dead on the sidewalk for trying to work within that framework, you ignorant fool.
