Look at the end of the barrel it's got a dummy screw on it. You don't put a mag in when you have those.
[Edit: I didn't look closely enough, that's a blank adapter. OP is right she should have a mag in.

I only recognized them because I have a couple pairs I bought from lowes. Never would have thought they made military gear too.
Better than what I have. I keep a pair of bright red Milwaukee gloves on my gun belt when I go shooting, lol.
