The natural selective pressures you point at have eroded too far with postindustrial civilization. There's the genetic factor and the social factor. This effects native populations even before modern immigrants (insufficiently vetted or naturally filtered) are factored in. Even the assimilated nonwhite, non-East Asian individuals will have descendants with genetics more predisposed towards violence and low intelligence than favorable populations. This is a bad when combined with the welfare state, before the new immigrants you mentioned.
I was going to say "predisposition" too, but that too can be overcome, with enough work. Not that 100% will succeed, which means it does take generations to "weed it out" eh?
Completely academic argument. No reason to highlight the exceptions unless you're trying to convince a young black man not to become a troubled youf. As a culture we have to look at most likely probabilities to make decisions.
Genetic means it is in the DNA. Your eye colour is genetic. There's no "probabilities" involved. Predisposition means it is influenced by your DNA. Or not.
You cannot be predisposed to have 5 fingers on each hand, but you can be predisposed to be a fat-fatty unless you're careful. If you were born with 9 fingers total? Or 11 or 12? That's DNA, not predisposition.
I know most folks interchange the two. Lord knows the gays do it constantly! They try to claim it's "in the DNA" little understanding that if it were? It would make gayness a genetic disorder (because it precludes their reproduction of said DNA). But is isn't, so it isn't. 😊
