Manmade Horrors have to be my least favorite kind of Horror.
The reason we prefer eldritch horrors is precisely because they're unrelatable and unrealistic.
And they weren’t funded by money stolen from taxpayers.

I mean, it carries with it the higher ability of suspension of disbelief, which in and of itself makes it potentially scarier. Though I won't lie, it also has a tendency to make you numb to it after enough exposure.
