With the Sydney Sweeney wave in particular it's interesting to speculate why exactly it was allowed to go forward. If it was just her butt in jeans, like the first ad, it's plausibly American Eagle hiring a hot celebrity and nothing more. But then they deployed the Good Jeans ad, knowing full well how that would stoke the internet, and that's kind of weird. Good Jeans is very 1488-friendly and would have ended the careers of everyone involved pre-2025. The kicker is that the CEO of American Eagle is Jewish.

Nobody but crazy retards would think that, and yes, that's the left, but it's perfectly plausible that the people making these decisions are unaware of that fact.
