I agree that it's harmful for people and they need to do what they can to avoid it. But most people here are aware that porn addiction is a symptom of greater societal ills. So while the message of "don't watch porn, it's bad for you" is still a good one, I can see how it can rub certain people the wrong way, because it's not like they have a solid quality woman to fall back on.
Edit: Yep, kept reading and the very next comment was calling exactly this out in more detail.
The issue with this line of thinking is assuming that porn use isn't affecting your ability to go out, do things, and meet with people.
Men after orgasm are satiated and won't expend effort on much, which includes non sexual ventures like business, hobbies, or platonic/familial relationships.
Porn redirects male energy into a screen whore, it exhausts men, and slowly destroys men's confidence while warping his view of sex, which should be for bonding and building a family.
Always the extremes. Never watching porn or always watching porn multiple times a day.
It's the same pseudo-religious shit like vegans & former alcoholics. They overconsumed things, had (health) issues. But it cannot be that the majority of the population is fine with consuming those things in moderation. Cause that would mean that they're weak. So they jump into their fervor to convince themselves & preach to the masses that they found true enlightenment.
If you jerk it multiple times a day to porn for hours? Stop. If you need "extra reinforcement to avoid watching it" you have a problem and it's probably best for your to stay away from it. The people who jerk it once/twice a week to porn are not having an issue with porn.
As long as you use the same argument for things like alcohol. I rarely drink. By no stretch of the imagination would anyone ever try to argue that I have an alcohol addiction. For someone who drinks a bit more, say one or twice a week and never goes overboard, similarly it would be difficult to argue that's an issue.
For right or wrong, porn is viewed similarly. Most people are happy to draw a line somewhere, just not at zero like the absolutists.
That being said, at bare minimum it needs to go back to being stigmatized much much more than currently. Letting people talk about it openly and even participate in it openly without social consequences has been a huge mistake.
The fact that you say this and assume its an innate issue instead of a problem with you says a lot.
Porn is bad on levels that all of us could write essays on, but if you find it "wildly addicting" that's a sign of your own life or brain having a greater problem that needs addressing, of which porn is merely the coping mechanism.
We need to curb the problem porn is doing on our populations, but attacking the end result as if it itself is the actual problem is as foolish as the War on Drugs was to stopping that crisis. We need to curb the problems that drive people to want to consume porn on a level that they can even become addicted in the first place.
Yes I'll freely admit I have my own issues with porn addiction. The vast majority of men have porn addiction. That's why nofap or porn free is such a challenge. And even if you have the self control or discipline to not actually coom for 30 days, your brain is still rewired on those reward pathways and you'll still be yearning for it. Especially if you get stressed or upset, like a smoker going for a cig.
People consume porn because we are wired to be excited when seeing sexually explicit women. You won't curb that desire as its highjacking your natural reproductive instinct.
It's cheaper than the alternative.
Porn is the true health crisis for millennials and possibly gen z
You'll have a hard time with this one. Kia2 still has a strong gooner coomer userbase that won't admit their favorite cope is damaging.
Thanks for posting. I always need extra reinforcement to avoid watching it myself. Porn is wildly addicting.

You can't moderately tolerate poison and degeneracy. Its evil, and it always is.
"I only cut myself once a week, I don't have a problem with cutting addiction"
Thanks. It’s rewires your brain and literally makes you a cuck
They even use the "I can quit anytime" cope verbatim. There's no "healthy" amount of addiction.
