Would it not be because there are 9000 publications defending him, while the ones against him are both rarer and pushed down by all the various search engines? Much the same way that every lie Wikipedia puts out has 9 citations per line (because every news source covered the lie) while any alternative is considered from a "bad site" and can't be used, leaving it without support.
So even if it wasn't deliberately told to act this way, the control they've had on media and the narrative for decades has made any AI useless on the subject because everything they could "learn" from is stacked against the truth.

100% correct but Grok didn't used to do this before the update. It had some particular alignment overrides that made it give consideration to alternative sources. ("The bad sites") It looks like that is gone,. might as well be ChatGpt now.
