Full of goodwill and wanting to help, she took in some homeless Arab migrant, both signing a rent contract for €350 per month. After a few months it all went to hell and he spooked her away, taking over the place (Spain has strong squatter rights). She now says she'll never rent a room or offer that kind of help again.
I was saying it from the perspective of my experience as a member of the audience. Recall the people that justify their victimization instead of doubting their worldview. Compare that with people who change their minds. As audience, I prefer one of those endings more than the other.
I don't really think in terms of sides or political warfare. I expect the world to continue to crumble for as long as I live. This is just entertainment, hopefully with a nice lesson at the end.
