Not sure about the UK, but in the EU, you can easily evade such bans by using Google's DNS service.
Yes, they are that stupid.
for now. I'm sure they'll figure out how to patch that workaround now that they're actively implementing their plan to control the internet in a manner that China and North Korea would envy.
All this talk about evading the censorship just means the population won't wake up until it's too late.
