But it is the same. Young men lean further and further right. How young women lean doesn't matter as women tend to follow whatever is socially acceptable. The second critical mass is reached they'll follow suit.
The overtone windows has shifted hard enough that people 10 years ago would call you crazy if you'd tell them how modern day Twitter looks like.
BTW, id like to add that its the younger generation that is supporting Sanseito party because of their anti immigrant rhetheric. While i don't fully trust Sanseito i would like to add that bit of information because its a good thing that the younger people are so anti immigrant and not just the older people.
Personally, I don't think this board is active enough to warrant bring upset about a separate post for this. I'm fine with the graph being a separate post instead of a comment or edit on the other post.
Im pretty sure LDP is red and its the go to party for Japanese boomers. LDP used to be considered "conservative" but they've taken a hard far left turn in recent years . But boomers in Japan still don't get it and still vote for them.
It's crazy how this keeps happening now a days, but honestly I would have thought old Japs would be the exception and wouldn't be brainwashed like white boomers. Bit disappointing, but nice to see young Japanese with some sense. Hopefully they don't let them destroy their country
For sure, and that's been the case in the west recently, but my perception of Japan was that the older generation were more anti immigration/nationalist and the younger were pro immigration. Disappointed in Japanese boomers, but pleasantly surprised by their youngsters
Im not sure if boomers in Japan are less anti immigrant than the youth , or whether they are just ignorant and don't pay close enough attention to what's going on..
LDP was considered the "centre right conservative" party that everyone voted for for a long time, but in recent years they took a hard left turn after Shinzo abe died . But instead of adjasting to this change the boomers just stayed with what they are familiar with and carried on voting for LDP.
Then again it could actually be the case of the younger right wingers are simply more far right than the older ones. Like in the West where younger right wingers are almost nazis .
This has been a trend across several countries now. Trump overperformed with young voters, and the only demographic he is wildly underwater with is Boomers. Boomers are the ones who elected the current PM in Canada, while younger voters went with other parties. All across Europe, the nationalistic parties like AfD are being overwhelmingly supported by younger voters while older voters keep voting for the old established parties.
There is clearly something to it worldwide, and it is why I think people dooming are internal saboteurs rather than actually important drivers of movements.
I am surprised its not the same in the West :
liberals at universities pushed all costs of their anti-white discrimination onto young white men

Persona 5's "adults are dumb" story is suddenly a lot cooler.
Why did you make a
secondthird thread on this when the very topic is already mentioned in theotherfirst thread you made, by you?https://kotakuinaction2.win/p/19Ba8P0xY1/-japanese-ldp-party-becomes-pro-/c/
You, 4 hours ago.
Yes but in those other posts i didn't have the exact graph the showed the exact age and how they voted. i found the exact graph and wanted to share it

The boomers just mindlessly vote LDP and Komeito like they always have.
Don’t have to live with the consequences vs do have too.

Boomers in Japan and the West get their info from TV. But the younger generation gets their info from the internet.
its why they try so hard to deplatform "non commie" content makers.

Is it younger Japanese, or younger Japanese men who are based?
