It's been discussed to death in right wing circles that the WNBA hemorrhages money like most of their players do blood once a month, and the NBA essentially props up the league, helping them path players, coaches, support staff, as well as maintance and upkeep of facilities, etc, but why?
It hit me earlier that maybe these stunts like the recent thing with the tshirts are not only permitted, but encouraged by NBA management as a way to play both sides for chumps. Think about it. the players make some big show of demanding "equal pay," the Left stands in solidarity, the Right mocks them brutally, and both the WNBA and NBA rake in increased ticket and merchandise sales.
Feel free to poke holes, though, I could easily be wrong about this.

The WNBA could be rallying behind CC, if they cared about the business of their game, but since it is a league ran by dykes and dindu, they instead do the typical female passive aggressive BS by beating her and her teammates up on the floor, and the refs not only ignore it, but penalize CC teammates when they retaliate. The league, too, issues fines when Fever players retaliate.
All because a straight, white woman is ten times better than the next best player on the floor.
To put this in context, imagine if Michael Jordan suddenly appeared in the 1950s NBA. His skill level and athletic ability would be 100 times greater than even the greats of that era, like George Mikan.
Imagine being a charity case league that literally never makes money, and then a generational player shows up to double your ratings (and lead you into the black) over night. Except instead of promoting and protecting that player, you let your petty, jealous, racist players and coaches attack and injure her while your refs do nothing to stop it. This is the kind of behavior that can only happen when your product is subsidized. Because that insulates you from free market forces.
I posted this before when the WNBA was pumping out racial drama before every game. This is baseline consumerist propaganda straight from Bernays. You don’t sell a piano, you sell a music room, pianos are big, heavy, and expensive, however they’re the ultimate symbol of status in a music room. They can’t sell the WNBA or sports, even the NBA struggled hard this year, but what they can sell is internet drama to generate clicks, Clark got views for being white in a hostile black lesbian sport, even though she’s a retarded leftist “conservatives” said they needed to support her because “reasons”. They were sold the hustle by the WNBA/NBA who made sure every network and every social media platform was buzzing about racial lesbian drama.
I don't know about most of their players. A good chunk of their players have dicks.
