Just because you don’t know what’s going on doesn’t mean you should celebrate the fact.
That’s incorrect. It’s incorrect because “culture war horseshit” is the indoctrination mechanism of the left; “be a decent person” and their network of various moral assumptions that have been taught as the default for decades is how they recruit. Providing a moral framework that teaches “(white) oppressor” and “(nonwhite) oppressed” is how they get all their people on one side. This is part of why every time something new happens (for example, October 7th, or the revelation of thousands of Hatians being dumped in small town Ohio and eating neighborhood pets), the left so reliably and collectively pivots to the most anti-white position. Because all the culture war “horseshit” is the establishment and enforcement of that moral framework.
Furthermore, even if culture war stuff were ignored, you wouldn’t achieve the results you want. The mealy mouthed infiltrators and grifters would still exist, they would merely make different gestures to get inside the movement. If conservatives focused only on budget, guns, property rights, and immigration, you’d find yourself (even more) overrun by people who endlessly did things like talk about the budget and then use that to argue against any expenditures on deportation, or argued to allow guns and property rights to the very aliens that must be deported.
The issue with the right’s political movement as it stands now is too much willingness to accept people who endlessly act in bad faith as long as they say the right things on one or two issues occasionally. The culture war aspects of the movement make a prime target for such people, but they are not the only target. Those people would exist even without the culture war aspect, and so ignoring it would do nothing but cede incredibly valuable ground to the enemy.
