One conspiracy theory I haven't looked into, but I do not doubt, is that every place the US has bombed for the last hundred-odd years always has an unusually high Christian population. Unironically, the Great Satan.
Yeah, the only things I can think of it is kind of true for is Nagasaki, which had the highest concentration of Christians in Japan.
Did we really bomb Somalia? Thought it was boots, humvees and heicopters. I see one article claiming we bombed and arms cache, but apparently it was antitank TOW missiles used, rather than bombs to destroy it.
I'm throwing in Somalia as a stand-in for the entirety of the horn of Africa. We've been involved there for over 30 years at this point. In Somalia we've basically supported multiple Ethiopian interventions, and we've also engaged in air-strike of our own resulting from piracy. Obviously there was the Battle of Mogadishu, but I consider that far larger than a 'bombing' because of how many thousands of people we killed.

The US has been bombing Somalia constantly for like twenty years.
