Most people forget they exist, like their parents.
Because we don't really care. That's our defining trait, apathy. Half of us basically lived in the woods. Boomers were such astonishingly bad parents that the government created a nightly mandatory broadcast to remind them that they even had children and that they should probably keep track of them.
It's been said below, but Gen X and Gen Y are the Passed Over Kids. Their Boomer/Jones parents largely didn't give a fuck about them, and they as a group have seen behind the curtains.
