Its using the new Smurfs movie as its basis. A movie that exists right now entirely because Rhianna agreed to be in it, so they made Smurfette the main character and the center of all the marketing.
An IP that no one cares about, hasn't cared about in decades, but they still keep pumping out crap seemingly to no one. Which sounds like UNICEF really.
