If is a testament to that generation of Soviet engineers though. Imagine what they would have been able to do if not hamstrung by retarded communists.
It's a testament that being shot if you fail is good short term motivation but inevitably creates a culture of constant lying and incessant ass covering.
The former is a necessity on account of the latter in any "diverse" society
