Unfortunate that he's not facing execution.
Foreigners don't do well in Asian prisons. If he gets anything close to the full sentence he might wish for the death penalty.
The probability of the south korean government being overthrown and a new dictator executing all prisoners is not zero. Their presidential history is wild.
Didn't they try to become a martial law dictatorship, just for the lols, earlier this year, and step it back with "just a prank, bro!"?

And I think every president they've ever had has been arrested or assassinated or some other thing.
