Good point. Don't get me wrong, I'm probably one of the few people here who has never smoked weed. But I still find it strange that the feds won't prosecute you for smoking weed in New York, but they will deny you entry? Or if you've done it in a country where it is completely legal.
It's not federally legal anywhere in the US. That New York decriminalized it at the state level means fuck all about border enforcement.

It's all about jurisdiction. And despite the Civil War some remnants of States Rights still persist.
