If you bomb any nuclear facility, even with conventional bombs, it's just like detonating a dirty bomb, spreading radioactive material everywhere. No shit people would evacuate the area. Do you expect people to stay next to a nuclear power plant that's about to get bombed?
No, I'm not. I'm saying that the level, and kind, of radiation leakage will conclusively prove whether or not Iran has those weapons. You'll be able to physically measure the level of Uranium 235 in the air.
If high concentrations of U-235 show up floating into Afghanistan, then you'll know. If they don't, then you'll also know.
No. If it's deep underground, and hit with a ground penetrating bomb? Everything collapses in on itself and almost nothing in the inside gets to the outside.
There's also the likelihood that enriched materials were stored elsewhere, given Iran's spreading the program across many locations, eh?
A nuclear power station is entirely above ground, entirely different situation, and a LOT less materials than was likely at Fordow. It would be ugly, but a tiny fraction of the scale a "dirty bomb" airburst would be.
