Was the president there that you are mad at? Of course not.
Police don't just immediately escalate with rubber bullets and pepper bombs. Someone started something and it wasn't peaceful anymore.
This ranks so low on a care-o-meter I almost cancelled this comment four times.
The only detail I would add is that I did hear some reports that the LAPD were unusually quick to use weapons on the mobs. Not the National Guard, but the LAPD, which acts under LA mayor Karen Bass' orders. Presumably, the intent would be to create a narrative of police brutality in order to paint Trump as a tyrant and blame it all on him.
So even if democrats burning democrat cities is not even remotely strange or out of character, the events are still significant simply because of the narrative that the media is likely trying to spin before the midterms, even if it's a year too early. Anything to reduce Trump's approval rating.
"We did it to ourselves to spite him" Sounds a lot like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
But I mean, it'll probably work. They keep calling him the lions eating faces party.
Yet they're tearing themselves apart to blame him.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to paint my fence, which will somehow cure my neighbor of his illness.
Women will give themselves a black eye if it means getting a juicy domestic violence charge against their husbands and a bigger payout in divorce court. It's the same feminine energy at play here.
If only men would start killing the women for attempting to break the holy bond of marriage and threatening his livelihood.
