When they killed .compact, I stopped using Reddit on mobile. I still browse a handful of subs intermittently on PC, but that's it. They're never recovering from all the shit they pulled between the 2016 and 2024 elections.
Majority of the issues you are having are fixed using OLD reddit (old.reddit.com).
The UIs and interface are so bad that if OLD did not exist, I would never go back there again.
Meant to mention that, didn't they kill old.reddit and other things? I'm sure I saw a thread about it here some time ago.
