It’s an attack on what some might call the “crunchy left,” or the “granola left.” To be honest, those guys don’t exist nearly as much as they used to—it’s largely a dying subculture, I think, as distrust of the establishment has shifted more and more into being a right wing position—but imagine the stereotypical yoga hippie, big-pharma skeptic, anti-GMO type and you’ll basically have the picture of who she’s yelling at.
It's a dead culture because it was fomented on trend chasing. Shopping at Whole Foods, driving a Prius, donating to Greenpeace, this is how a liberal signaled they were a Good Person back in the 2000s. The trends changed, became much more belligerent, and thus it wasn't enough to just be an 'ethical consumer'.
Hippie types were some of the most enthusiastic about the vaccine, anti-vaccine stuff is completely right-coded now.
wasn't like that years ago, the shift of left hippie types towards subservient full blown one world government ideals happened during the Obama years.
It's Yuppie Hippies now based on what I've seen at Sedona.
They didn't disappear, they got co-opted by the Right. My mom has gone full blown crystal energy, copper everything, grounding, the earth is flat with a dome on it psycho
Maybe you should be more open minded to flat earth truths.
You can skip all of that and just say "RFK Jr. supporters", as that is who this is aimed at.
