Don't be so sure. The Palestinian movement, like with Jihadism, has always been built off of the rhetoric of Social Justice for Muslims. The Palestine was a Progressive Nationalist movement from the very beginning. This is why they push revolution in every Muslim country they enter. They're just re-framing the jews-west as a bourgeoise race, and the umma as the proletariat race.
The western Leftists see the pattern underlying the topical differences.
The unfortunate truth of the western Leftists is that the Palestinians understand better than they do that at the end of the game you kill everyone who helped get you where you are.
