Which is still insane. It's bringing in more than a million people in a country of 40 million people. That's 2.5% of the population. In 10 years, that's 25% of the present-day population. It's crazier than any country in the world.
It is reported as such. 800K in the first 4 months alone. The rest of 2025 will see similar numbers.

iirc 2024 saw 1 MILLION migrants allowed in, legally or illegally. I don't think that counts student visas though, but a lot of them stay here past their visa date. Again both legally and illegally.
We have 3 kids at my work here on Student Visas (out of a staff of 15) from India. 2 are actually going to school and the other has a work visa while she 'contemplates' returning to school. :/ There's 5 East Indians in total... the other 2 are legal citizens.
